This floorcloth was commissioned by a client in Chester, New Jersey. The floorcloth measures 3′ × 6′ and resides in a laundry room. The design is based on floor patterns found in The Edward Durant House, Newton, Massachusetts, circa 1780.

The colors used are Jamestown Blue for the background, Rich Gold and Custom Bronze for the motifs, and Hasbrouk Brown for the border.

The client chose this design after viewing the Edward Durant Series and liking the design of Edward Durant #11 in our Early American Collection, redone with colors more complementary to her home.
