This floorcloth was commissioned by a client in Charlestown, Massachusetts. The floorcloth measures 2′ 1″ x 3′ 1″. The design is based on floor patterns found in The Edward Durant House, Newton, Massachusetts, circa 1780.

The colors used are Moonlight for the background, and Black, Pale Gold and Red Earth for the motifs. The client chose this design and color scheme after viewing Edward Durant #1 in our Early American Collection. Her size requirements dictated a simple band-border.
