Edward Durant – cf19

Floorcloth Photo: Edward Durant cf19

Floorcloth Construction Details This floorcloth was commissioned by a design firm in Atlanta for a client and is one of three floorcloths placed in their residence. This floorcloth measures 3′ x 4′ and the design is based on floor patterns found in The Edward Durant House, Newton, Massachusetts, circa 1780.

The colors used are Chestertown Buff for the background and Livingston Gold, Stuart Gold, and a custom red and cream mix for the motif and border colors. The pattern is based on Edward Durant #8 in our Early American Collection, with color modifications to work in the client’s pantry.
