This floorcloth was commissioned by the curator of Eidsvoll 1814, Norway’s Constitutional Museum. The Constitution was created in May of 1814 at Eidsvollsbygningen, the home of Carsten Anker. The Bicentennial will be celebrated in May of 2014 and renovations are underway to prepare Eidsvoll 1814 for the event. This floorcloth is located in the dining room. It measures 13’ 3” x 17’ .5”. The colors were specified using the Natural Color System and are NCS 1002-Y, NCS S9000-N and NCSS3560-Y70R. We matched the colors using Benjamin Moore for the background color and mixed red and black colors using stencil paints.
